With a nine week production cycle we need to gear up a few months in advance of demand. The positive response from our new markets to the south of [...]
Grass-fed BeefOur Beef has been raised on its mother’s milk, fresh grazed pastures, and our own hay, with no grain supplements. Our animals are low in fat, taste “beefier” due to the muscle they build by running around in our fields, and rich flavor the meat acquires through slow maturation and growth, as nature intended.
Pasture-raised ChickenOur French-bred freedom ranger chickens are only penned up in outdoor shelters at night to protect them from nocturnal predators, while the rest of their time is spent exploring freely in open pastures, and eating locally sourced feed we provide them. They have richer flavored, less dry meat, than their feedlot counterparts, and many of our customers has told us they are the best they’ve ever eaten!
Coastal HayWe produce our own Coastal Bermuda Hay as a winter supplement for our cows. It is all barn stored to maintain nutrient levels, and is another way to have transparency in our cows' diets.
We oft have a few hunted extra bales put up for sale in the winter. FOB the farm.
